Bookcases & shelving units

With so many belongings you like to look at – memories, keepsakes, things you don’t want forgotten in a drawer – what to do? This airy display preserves the decorative without losing functionality. Glass doors keep items visible and accessible. Interior lighting take it up another notch still. Cabinets hide the more unsightly stuff. Meanwhile, hints of traditional style run like a thread from storage to seating and lighting, setting the mood for the entire room.

Mixing organic and straight lines, this selection owes a lot to the warmth of natural fibre and an earthy colour scheme. Individual items make their mark, either grouped or on their own. The sofa, storage, textiles, lighting, and accessories complement each other in both affordability and defining the traditional style. Extra points for the storage unit’s no-back design, allowing patterns and colours to shine through.
