unfortunate design flawEileenThe main inside unit hangs from the inside of the cabinet on a rail, and the bottom sits on another rail at the bottom of the cabinet. A bar goes from the bottom of this main unit to the rack on the cupboard door, enabling the door to pull the inside rack in and out as the door opens and closes. This bar won't stay attached, keeps popping out, leaving the main rack hanging crookedly and the door unable to close. I do trust ikea's returns policy but I'm now left needing to dismantle it to somehow return it (it's very bulky and awkward) and replace with standard drawers to store my food in.1

Very well engineeredAnonymous reviewerThis larder is excellent. The shelves are very solid, the bases are wood, and the metal construction is very reassuring. The runners along the bottom of the cabinet are thick and solid, I don't foresee any mechanical issues. There are plenty of ways to adjust the shelf heights too. Overall, I'm very impressed. I've added lighting to the cupboard too, and it looks great. I used a Mittled drawer strip but it's a bit dazzling, since it shines directly into your face. I will look into replacing it with a wardrobe light, since these are indirect.5
