Nice in the end, but some drawbacks in assemblyBerniceLoved these lamps and for the price thought they were perfect.. a really lovely design. We had an electrician in to do some other work, so he did the installation. there were a lot of pieces to the construction and then on page 17 out of nowhere, a hook was mentioned. hooks are not provided with the product. also in order to install with the hook would have required relocation of the outlet for secure installation. Thankfully, we had purchased some metal pendant sets for another project. Our electrician cleverly used the shade with the alternate pendant sets. It increased the cost per lamp ( we have 2) by 20 Euro each. Plus the modification meant that we could not affix the portion2 at the ceiling or the caps at the top pf the shades.. so we have a bag of unused pieces that will be wasted. That being said, the shades Do look beautiful with this hack... even though not what we intended, and we had increased cost. We were fortunate that the electrician was there to find a solution.2
