Beware of splinters!OwenThe good: It looks great, feels heavy and secure.
The bad: Despite oiling it properly, large splinters have emerged, making it difficult to wash as they catch on your sponges and clothes.
Should be 0 starsJackIncredibly, IKEA have sold me a chopping board which is not actually finished. The manufacturing process is half done, as it has not been oiled. Washed it before use after I got home, and small wood fibres are coming off the surface. Research tells me I now need to sand it, dry it and oil it myself with food grade mineral oil (as if I have that lying around). Unbelievably poor from IKEA
