      needs modificationMargaretVery pleased with bed frame until trying to change the bed. The highest setting for the mattress is too low in the frame, meaning that it's a real struggle to lift a heavy mattress out to change the sheets. Could you provide a modification that would allow the mattress to lay higher on the frame. Modern mattresses are heavier & deeper now, so this is a real problem, especially for the older customer! It would have been helpful if IKEA had shown that the mattress sits so low down in the frame. Otherwise, the bed is comfortable & looks good3

      Very noisyLisaIt eas difficult to assemble and once the mattress was on and we slept on it first time, it became evident that any movement (if you are heavier than a small child) results in creaking and cracking sounds during the night. 2
      Very cheap flimsy materialDavidI have had to repair this bed frame 4 times now mostly due to the middle frame popping out of the cheap material, the screw literally pulling lumps of the "wood" out. I would honestly avoid this bed frame there are far superior quality ones out there.2

      It’s very comfortable and easy to assemble, and I do mention, a step in assembly was missing in booklet so it will be more easy if you do mention it, otherwise it’s great product I do recommend it with full confirmation.

      What is veneer?

      A veneer is a thin wooden sheet fixed on things like particleboards to add a durable surface and a natural wood look – so we enjoy the many benefits of wood without using solid wood. The most common veneer types are birch, ash, oak and beech and we’ve made a special UV lacquer that helps preserve the wood's natural structure. A benefit with a slightly thicker veneer is how you can repair and sand the surface if it’s damaged to give furniture a longer and more beautiful life.
