Do not fit bedSharonThis is my 3 rd ikea bed Theese slates do not fit the bed i bought I feel from my first ikea bed over q3 years ago the standard has gone way down1
Poor qualityVictoriaPurchased 2 of these and both are very poor quality, come apart VERY easily, which result in poor night sleep. Not fit for purpose, would not recommend1
Pictures not accurate, good otherwiseCathalThere are 16 slats in total, not 17 as pictured. It might matter if you're using them for an alternative project which I am.4
Unbelievably noisy and creakyAnonymous reviewerI bought these slats with the SONGESAND bed frame and couldn't believe how noisy they were. They creaked with every slightest movement. After a few nights of disturbed sleep, we resolved the issue by placing small felt pads under each slat to prevent any friction. I don't think it should be required to do this when paying so much for a bed/mattresses overall.1

What is layer-glued wood?

With layer-glued wood it’s possible to create flexible and extra strong constructions with curved shapes, like frames for armchairs. The secret is a technique where many layers of thin wood veneer are glued together and then pressed into the desired shape. We often use wood like birch, beech, ash and even bamboo – and strive to use the raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste. Just like solid wood, it has natural variations in structure and colour.
