      Not fit for purposeJackLid bounces off after minutes, opens in bags and leaks food everywhere, now going to have to replace with plastic lids which was the whole idea to get away from plastic tupperware, disgraceful 1
      Not reliable, don't buy it!AlidaIt worked as airtight only the first two times. Then it curved and it makes impossible to seal anything or to pile it up in the cupboard. Such a poor tested product. :(1
      Look great, function poorlyBarryI have quite a number of these and unfortunately they are unreliable. Half of them will refuse to stay sealed, going so far as to push up the container stacked above them. I had to migrate to the plastic lids.1
      Does not serve the purposeDennisI purchased two of these since the plastic counterpart where out of stock. It looks good but it doesn't work as a lid. It always pop open within few seconds after closing. I had both of them paired with 1.8L glass containers, which I use for weekly meal prep. Guess what? My week's food turned dry and stale in two days as the lid wouldn't close. I'm not sure if I can return it since the bamboo material absorbed stains from the food very easily. I would really appreciate it if I could get a refund for it, if anyone is monitoring this review. Happy to send relevant pictures and videos.1
      Not fit for purposeEvinThese look great, but they're not fit for purpose. At first they work well, but they keep popping out, breaking the airtight seal. They also get mouldy very easily.1
      Brittle and Bad FitAllenTwo have broken with minimal use in one month and they don't fit the containers, you'd need a weight on top to have a seal. Totally useless sadly1
      The square lid does not fit the squre containerCarolineI puchased the square containers with the square lids, however, they do not fit. They are 2mm too big for the containers. This is a design fault1

      What is bamboo?

      Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years. At IKEA we use bamboo for items like furniture, bathroom decor, baskets and lamps – and we are constantly exploring more areas of use for this versatile material.
