The fabric gives very good protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 25+, which means it blocks 96% of the ultraviolet radiation.
It’s easy to keep the canopy clean and fresh since you can easily remove and machine wash it.
The air vent reduces wind pressure and allows heat to circulate.
The hook-and-loop strap keeps the fabric in place when folded.

Your customers need less frames and more covers SusanHi Ikea,I am about to purchase my 3rd one of these. The first two weren't due to any fault if ikea. I let one get ruined in the winter by not coveringim it up. 2nd one - Golden retriever!! I have a fully functioning frame and only need to purchase the cover. Until this week I was unaware that the cover was removable so once I learned this I expected to find a replacement available. I was surprised to find there isn't one. Its so ridiculous to expect customers to buy a new frame each time. Taking the cost out of the equation - THINK OF THE WASTE (you should know better ikea) and the cost, effort and time of disposal. Now that I know to keep the cover off when the garden is not in use - i am praying for longevity.
