Reliable and Works WellRayI have several of those and use them to control my blinds and lights. Unlike other new IKEA products that use Matter over Thread, this remote control is actually quite good at staying connected to the Thread network and works reliably.5
Excellent hardwareThomasThe button itself is excellent. I like that it uses low-cost AA batteries rather than coin cells, it’s got a nice weight to it, the 3M metal magnetic mounting plate is thoughtful, overall great stuff. The only problem with it is software stability, as it very occasionally doesn’t respond to a press, but I’m willing to forgive it that given the Matter standard is so new, plus it’s probably Apple HomeKit’s fault (my Thread border routers (HomePods) have had a lot of connectivity issues in the past). This button is great, and very very cheap compared to others in the market.5
