How it works
Book the removal of your mattress in-store at the home delivery desk for just €40 per item.
We will provide you with a bag for your mattress. It will need to be bagged ready for collection.
The delivery team will come and collect your bagged old mattress.
Good-to-know basics
Mattresses will only be accepted in a ready-to-collect condition, bagged and must not be damp or wet (e.g. left outside)
Mattresses should be near the front door to be easily collected by the collection team.
What happens to your mattress?
When the delivery team collects your old mattress, it's transported to a dedicated mattress processing centre.
The mattresses' components are assessed and upcycled to become new products for multiple applications.

The mattress needs to be bagged and in an off-the-bed condition. We will provide you with the bag to use. The mattress must also be dry. If the mattress is wet or damp (e.g., left outside), the collection will be refused.
The mattress must be by the front door ready to be bagged and collected.
If it is not in the correct location this will result in a failed collection, and you would need to re-book and re-pay for this service.

You will need to contact our Customer Support Centre on 01 696 6246 or come to your nearest IKEA store to cancel this service 48 hours prior to your collection.
The service is not available at IKEA Plan & Order Points, and IKEA Pick Up Points.
Yes, you will need to cancel the collection also, as they are booked separately.
