I accidentally damaged my product while transporting/assembling it, what should I do?

IKEA Family members benefit from just-in-case protection against accidental damage on the way home or whilst assembling.

At IKEA, we know that things don’t always go to plan. When they don’t, it’s nice to know that you are in safe hands as an IKEA Family member where you will receive just-in-case protection!

We'll exchange it for free if something breaks during transport or while you assemble your IKEA furniture. The free just-in-case protection is valid on any purchase, not just items with an IKEA Family price. Your IKEA Family card MUST be swiped or added online at the time of purchase  to assure the products.

To claim your free just-in-case protection, please visit your local store within 90 days of the purchase/delivery date, or contact us. If going back to store please bring along with the affected item, your IKEA Family card and your till receipt.  This applies to both in-store and online purchases.
