What is IKEA Returns policy for mattresses?
It is important to IKEA that you love your new mattress. If after a while you discover that your mattress is too firm, too soft or too something else, you can bring the mattress back and simply change it for another. You have the opportunity to exchange it once through the 'Sleep On It' policy.
You should note that initially your new mattress can seem a bit too firm. You should allow at least one month for your body to get used to the mattress and for the mattress to get used to your body. To get the best comfort you also need the right pillow. You should make sure you have a pillow that suits you and your new mattress.
You may exchange your mattress once within 365 days of purchase under the 'Sleep On It' policy if you change your mind, provided that it is not dirty, marked or damaged. For mattress claims under the 'Sleep On It' policy, we will not refund the mattress; it can only be exchanged for another mattress once. Please contact us here via webchat with pictures of the mattress you wish to return. Please send photos of your mattress from multiple angles, ensuring the label with the mattress range name and the entire mattress is visible. If needed, we may request videos. Photos must be in JPEG/JPG or in a pdf document file format and not exceed 10 MB in size. Or you can simply take your mattress back to an IKEA store with your proof of purchase for a one time exchange and IKEA will help you find one that suits you better. Please ensure you place a cover on it to keep it clean while on route to the store.
