How do I use an IKEA gift card or refund card when shopping online?

You can use an IKEA gift card or refund card when shopping online by adding your items to the cart, choosing delivery or collection, and selecting the gift card option at checkout.

Steps to redeem IKEA gift card or refund card
  1. Login to the IKEA website using your IKEA Family or Business credentials.
     
  2. Search for the products you want to buy and add them to your cart. Once you've added the items, review your cart and click "Continue to checkout".
     
  3. Next, choose your delivery option. Select "Delivery" if you want IKEA to deliver the items, or "Collect" if you prefer to pick them up yourself.
     
  4. After choosing your delivery option, click "Continue" and update your address details if you opt for IKEA delivery services.
  5. On the payment page, select the "Add an IKEA gift card or refund card" option. Enter the combination of the 19-digit card number and 4-digit PIN, or the 16-digit redemption code. 
     
    If you're redeeming a refund card, enter the card number and redemption code sent to your registered email.  
     
    Insufficient balance for the total order value 
    When there is an insufficient balance on your card to pay for the complete purchase, you can select an alternative payment method for the remaining purchase amount. You can check your remaining balance online or write “Gift card balance” in the IKEA chat.
  6. After entering the card details, accept the terms and conditions and click "Pay" to confirm your order.  
Good to know 
  • Multiple gift cards or refund cards can be used for a single purchase. The limit is €250 per gift card used.
  • The full amount of the gift card or refund card balance will always be used to pay for your purchase, unless the total sum of your purchase is lower than the remaining balance. There is no option to select the balance amount you wish to use for the purchase.
