Why are IKEA raising their prices?

At IKEA, we always strive to keep prices low, and since the start of the pandemic we have been finding ways to get around some of these obstacles. However, due to these external circumstances, we will increase prices on many of our products.

At IKEA we continue to put a lot of effort into keeping our prices as low and as stable as we possibly can. However, the current transport situation and raw material constraints are impacting industries all over the world, and IKEA is no exception.

We will aim to always offer great value for money, and this has not changed. Unfortunately, prices for raw materials, transportation and logistics have continuously increased throughout the pandemic.

At IKEA we will always honor a price quote for the period of time it is valid through.

At IKEA we believe in creating a strong and relevant offer that is attractive and affordable to the many people. We aim to have the lowest price on the market for comparable products.

At IKEA, as a principle, the online and offline price should be the same. At times our stores and web shop can have specific offers and promotions on specific products which are dependent upon purchasing in that sales channel and according to those terms and conditions.
