SMÅLAND (crèche)
Are the SMÅLAND staff fully trained?
Yes, they are all trained to a minimum of FETAC level 5.
Are the SMÅLAND staff first aid trained?
Safety is our priority so we always have a co-worker fully trained in paediatric first aid in the SMÅLAND area at all times.
Can I book online or over the phone?
In order to maximise the availability, we only take bookings for sessions when you arrive at the store.
Where is SMÅLAND located?
You will find SMÅLAND in the store entrance area, however, if you’ve missed it for any reason please ask one of our co-workers and they’ll be happy to show you.
Who can book in a child?
All parents and guardians can book in a child but they must be over the age of 18. It must be the same person who registers them for a session on arrival to the store and collects them from their session.
How long are the sessions?
They are 45 minutes long and your child is welcome to attend one session per day.
Can I attend SMÅLAND with them?
We welcome parents to stay for 5 minutes to help their child settle into the new environment.
Will my child be fed whilst in SMÅLAND?
As every child has different dietary requirements and the sessions are for a short period of time we do not provide food, however, we provide water at a child’s request.
If my child has additional needs can they attend your crèche?
Yes, we would be delighted to welcome your child. On their first visit, we provide one to one care, then based on your advice and on their care plan we can assess if they’re happy to join a future session or we feel one to one support is needed in these sessions. Please speak with one of our SMÅLAND co-workers or call us on 01 893 0100 ext. 6232# to inquire about booking a one to one session.
What kind of activities are available for my child to do in SMÅLAND?
We have lots of imaginative and interactive toys including a ball pool. We also have arts and crafts and books as well as creative toys.
Can I leave my buggy there while I shop?
We don’t have a storage facility for buggies, however, we do provide parent and child parking spaces close to the store entrance.
Can I leave the store whilst my child is in SMÅLAND?
Parents or guardians must be in store whilst their children are enjoying our SMÅLAND facilities.
