Order and collection points

  • What are IKEA Order and collection points?

    Our Order and collection points are a new format for IKEA. They are smaller than a traditional store and offer a far more creative and interactive shopping experience to our larger stores. We will carry out a lot of testing in our collection points and each one will be slightly different. We will look to gain our customer's input and feedback in each unit. If you have any ideas on how to improve our collection points then please let a member of our staff know.

  • What information do I need to collect my order?

    Please bring your order confirmation and proof of ID when you collect your order.

  • Is there parking when I get there?

    All of our Order and collection points have free parking available and Disabled parking bays.

  • Am I able to take products home with me from the Order and collection point?

    Our Order and collection points are a lot smaller than our traditional stores therefore not all of our range is available to take home with you. There is a small selection of articles that you can take home with you and these will be available in our ‘take home’ areas of the store.

  • Are all the services available in a traditional IKEA store available in an Order and collection point?

    There are some differences between the services available in an Order and collection point and a traditional IKEA store. Order and collection points offer kitchen and bathroom installation, assembly, planning and measuring services.

  • How many products can I order for delivery or collection?

    You can order over 8,500 products from our normal online range that can be delivered either into the store for collection or directly to your home.

  • Can I choose the delivery date or collection date for my order?

    This can vary depending on the product and your location. In the majority of our collection points, we aim to have your order ready for collection within 78 hours.

    You can simply change the date of an OCP order delivered to your home, and the date of your collection here. All you’ll need is your order number and email address. However, once the order begins to progress in our system we may not be able to change your delivery or collection date as requested. In this case, please contact us.

  • How long will my order be held before I need to collect?

    We will keep your items on hold for you at the OCP for up 48 hours, commencing when you receive a message from the OCP that your order is ready for collection. 

  • How much does it cost to have an order delivered to my home, or for me to collect?

  • Does the Order and collection point offer normal payment methods?

    Yes, all normal payment methods are available at an Order and collection point.

  • Can I return items that I have bought in other IKEA stores to an Order and collection point?

    Yes, the Order and collection points operate the same returns policy as other IKEA stores. You can return your unused items in their original packaging within 365 days, together with your till receipt or copy of your online order confirmation for a full refund.

  • Does the Order and collection point have a restaurant?

    Due to the size of our collection points, we are unable to offer the traditional IKEA restaurant. Instead, each one will have a hot and cold food offer for you, serving a range of IKEA food products and speciality coffee.

  • Is the IKEA Family offer available in the Order and collection point?

    Yes, the IKEA Family offer is available to Order and collection point customers.

  • Are there any facilities for babies and small children?

    High chairs are available and we also offer a children’s menu, free baby food and food warming facilities. In all of our locations, we also have baby nursing facilities. Please ask a member of staff for details.

  • Can I get a hot dog?

    As our Order and collection points are different to our main stores and we are testing different formats, we currently do not offer hot dogs however we will review our food offer based on the wishes of our customers.

  • Do you serve hot meals and can I get a cooked breakfast?

    There will be a select range of warm food available for eating in or taking away. While a cooked breakfast will not be available, there will be a range of breakfast food for you to choose from.

  • Is tea and coffee free for IKEA Family members?

    There is an IKEA Family member price for all the hot drinks within the range.

  • Are there IKEA Family offers on food?

    Yes, there will be IKEA Family offers on food, however, these may vary from the offers available in traditional stores.

  • Are there meatballs?

    We know that there is great demand for our meatballs, although not all collection points will have a hot meatball offer available, we have made sure that there are frozen meatballs available for you to take home and cook yourself.

  • Do you sell gift cards?

    Yes, gift cards are available.
