The fabric dims daylight entering the room and reduces glare. It gives a comfortable sense of privacy as people cannot see in. At night, silhouettes can be perceived from outside when the room is lit.
The soft cotton/jute blend has a smooth and tactile texture. The fabric is durable and breathable, ideal in any season.
Rustic and simplistic design by Hannah Wilcox inspired by the linear patterns of barn facades on the local farmland. Simple motifs blended with rich natural elements create a timeless feel.
Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hinge the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.
Curtain, 1 pair included.
Since the fabric will shrink when washing it is a good idea to wash the curtains prior to cutting/hemming.
For full window coverage: multiply the rod/track width by 1.5 for a full look, or 2 for an extra full look. Then divide by the width of 1 curtain and round up.
You can use SY iron-on hemming strip to shorten the curtains without sewing.
For a 290 cm curtain pair, use: 36 VIDGA gliders and hooks; 20 RIKTIG curtain hooks for pleating with VIDGA gliders and hooks; or 36 SYRLIG curtain rings with clips and hooks. Add more for fuller folds.
May be combined with room darkening or block-out curtains or blinds to limit or block out light from outside.
