Delivery options and prices

How quickly you can receive your purchase depends on the size of the order, the delivery location, and the availability of the products. When you order products from IKEA online store, physical store or through one of our planning studios, you will be informed of the available delivery options, the estimated delivery time and the exact prices. Then you can choose what suits you and your wallet. Now is the time to join! As an IKEA Family and IKEA Business Network member you get better prices with deliveries. 

Parcel delivery to your door from €9,90

  • Price €9,90 for IKEA Family and IKEA Business Network members norm. €14,90
  • Minimum order value 10 euros. 
  • Signature not required.
  • Maximum order size: max weight 35 kg.
  • You'll see the preliminary delivery date in the shopping cart and you will receive a message closer to the delivery from which you can choose a more precise delivery time.
  • The order will be delivered to your doorstep.
  • Estimated delivery time three (3) business days.
  • Please note, that some products cannot be delivered by parcel due to product size, weight or fragility. We deliver such products as home delivery.

Delivery to your address – handover from delivery truck from €29

  • Delivery price is determined by the value of the shopping cart and your postal code.  Check the shipping price for your area in the table or in the shopping cart. 
  • IKEA Family and IKEA Business Network -members get deliveries at member price. 
  • Minimum order value 10 euros. 
  • Signature required.
  • The delivery time is determined by your postal code, estimated delivery time 3-5 business days.
  • Select the delivery date and window when placing your order. The shipping company will contact you closer to delivery to get the exact delivery time. 
  • The delivery truck is parked as close to the house as possible, and the products are handed over directly from the truck. If the products are delivered on a cardboard pallet, the pallet remains with the recipient.
  • Depending on the region, orders are delivered from the IKEA store closest to you or from the IKEA Distribution center, so product availability and available delivery options may vary. The most convenient way to see the availability of your postal code is in the shopping cart.
  • There are restrictions on the service in the archipelago areas.

Delivery to your address – carried inside from €49

  • Delivery price is determined by the value of the shopping cart and your postal code. Check the shipping price for your area in the table or in the shopping cart.
  • IKEA Family and IKEA Business Network -members get deliveries at member price. 
  • Minimum order value 10 euros. 
  • Signature required.
  • The delivery time is determined by your postal code, estimated delivery time 3-5 business days.
  • Select the delivery date and window when placing your order. The shipping company will contact you closer to delivery to get the exact delivery time. 
  • Products ordered with "carried inside" we deliver all the way to the apartment, regardless of which floor the apartment is on.  The products are left in one place designated by the customer. Please make sure that the driver has unobstructed access and that the products fit in the place you have indicated. Psst! Remember to protect the floor of the walkway.
  • In connection with delivery "carried inside" you can purchase a recycling service for sofas, mattresses and household appliances. Read more about the recycling service.

Deliver the products home yourself

Rent a van or trailer at a low price and transport the products home yourself.

Van rental

  • You can book a van from our partner, Pakuovelle.com, in advance through the attached booking page.
  • All vans at our locations are self-service and available 24/7. The van is paid for at the time of booking and you can use the car with your smartphone.

Trailer rental

  • As an IKEA Family member, you can rent a covered trailer free of charge for two hours when you make an IKEA purchase of at least 30 euros and cannot fit products in your car. The normal price of the rental is €20.
  • Book a trailer for your use through the booking page.
  • Make your purchase at an IKEA online store (Click & collect) or store.
  • The trailer is reserved for you at the time you choose and will be handed over to you against a purchase receipt or order confirmation from the department store's customer service point. We check the driver's license when renting.

How IKEA delivery service works

  1. Shop online or in-store with minumum order value of 10 euros. Delivery price is the same regardless of the channel: Online – Store – Planning studio – Remote. 
  2. Book delivery. Buying online? Get options during check-out. In a store? Get help from our sales people.
  3. You’ll be notified when your order is on its way. Or you’ll get a tracking number. (Communication in Finnish)
  4. Be present to sign for your delivery. If you orderd an in-door delivery, make sure to have unobstructed access and protect your floors.
  5. Examine packages for correctness and condition. If you notice any damage or deficiency tell the driver while they are still present. Otherwise, please contact our customer service.

Good-to-know basics

  • You can track a delivery here or use the link provided in your order confirmation email.
  • Read the order confirmation (in Finnish) carefully, it contains important information about your delivery and the next steps.
  • For in-home delivery, service provider will carry your order inside regardles of the floor.
  • For doorstep delivery, service provider will drive as close to the house/door as possible and the products are delivered near the delivery truck. Please note that delivery trucks can be large, and the driver will assess a safe delivery location.
  • Be sure your delivery will fit in all doorways, halls, stairs or lifts in your home and building. For dimensions, look under “Package details” on individual product pages.
  • For deliveries to an apartment or condo, please protect floors.
  • If you notice that a package has been damaged during delivery, please tell the driver. After receiving the delivery, you can check the condition of the products and if there are any problems, please contact our customer service. The driver is not obliged to wait for the total order to be checked.
  • You can pair IKEA delivery service with removal service when purchasing a sofa, mattreses or apliances.
  • When buying from the online store, you can check the availability and price of the assembly service in the shopping cart, in department stores the staff will help you with all questions related to assembly.
