Delivery service
We offer a wide range of delivery options to suit your needs, from parcel delivery to pick-up point to home delivery with carrying in service. We will tell you at the time of ordering which option is right for your order. For home delivery, the options are home delivery with or without carrying in. All delivery options require a minimum order value of 10 euros. You can also save money by using Click & Collect service and picking up from an IKEA store for 0,- or from a local pick-up point for 25,-.
Delivery options and pricing
How quickly you can receive your purchase depends on order size, delivery location, delivery demand and product availability. During online check-out or while booking at an IKEA store or IKEA planning studio, you’ll get available delivery options, estimated lead time and exact prices. Then you can decide what suits you and your wallet.
Parcel to pick-up point 4,90
- Flat rate of 4,90 for orders over 10 euros.
- IKEA Family members get a free postal parcel for orders over 65 euros. The offer is valid until further notice. Register and read terms of the offer.
- Estimated delivery time: 3-5 working days, you can see the provisional pick-up date in the shopping cart. We will notify you when your order is available for pick-up.
- Maximum order size: weight less than 25 kg
- The option will automatically appear in the shopping cart under the Pickup option when all conditions are met.
- You can choose to have your order picked up at your preferred Postal Pickup Point.
- Due to design constraints, some products are not available for parcel delivery. These products will be delivered by home delivery.
Home package to your door 9,90
- Flat rate of 9,90 for orders over 10 euros.
- Maximum package weight: under 35 kg
- You will see the provisional delivery date in the shopping cart and will receive a message closer to delivery, allowing you to select a more precise delivery date.
- The package will be delivered to your door.
- Due to design constraints, some products cannot be ordered as parcel delivery. These products will be delivered by home delivery.
Delivery from 19,-
- Delivery price from 19,- for orders over 10 euros.
- The delivery price is determined by the basket value and postal code. You can see the exact delivery price in the delivery price table or the shopping cart.
- Delivery time is determined by your postcode. For regions near department stores, even same-day delivery. The order confirmation (in Finnish) will give you all the information and instructions for delivery.
- For products ordered without indoor delivery, the order is delivered as close to the house/door as possible and the items will be left near the delivery truck. The goal is to deliver the products on a cardboard pallet that remains with the recipient.
- For products ordered with indoor delivery, the order is delivered inside the apartment, regardless which floor the apartment is on. Products are placed in a location specified by the customer. Please ensure that the driver has unobstructed access, and that the products fit in the designated spot. Psst! Remember to protect the floor along the route.
- In connection with the delivery you can purchase a recycling service for sofas, mattresses and appliances.
- Depending on the region, orders are delivered from the nearest IKEA store or the IKEA distribution centre, so product availability and delivery options may vary. You can see the product availability and delivery options for your postal code is in the shopping cart.
- The service is subject to restrictions in island and rural areas.

Deliver the products home yourself
Van rental
Suitable when you want to get your products with you immediately, but you don't have a car or the products don't fit in your own car.
- You can book a van from our partner, Pakuovelle.com, in advance via the booking page below.
- All vans in our branches are self-service and available 24/7. The van is paid for at the time of booking and you can access the van via your smartphone.
Trailer rental
Suitable when you need to get your products with you immediately and your car can tow a trailer.
- As an IKEA Family member, you can rent a canopy trailer free of charge for two hours when you make an IKEA purchase of 30,- or more that can't be transported by a car. The normal rental price is 20,-.
- Book your trailer through the booking page (available in Finnish only).
- Make your purchase in the IKEA online shop (Click & Collect) or in the IKEA store.
- The trailer will be reserved for you at a time of your choice and will be handed over to you upon receipt or order confirmation from the store's customer service desk. We will check your driving licence at the time of rental.
How IKEA delivery service works
- Shop online or in-store with minumum order value of 10 euros. Delivery price is the same regardless of the channel: Online – Store – Plan & Order Point – Remote.
- Book delivery. Buying online? Get options during check-out. In a store? Get help from our sales people.
- You’ll be notified when your order is on its way. Or you’ll get a tracking number. (Communication in Finnish)
- Be present to sign for your delivery. If you orderd an in-door delivery, make sure to have unobstructed access and protect your floors.
- Examine packages for correctness and condition. If you notice any damage or deficiency tell the driver while they are still present. Otherwise, please contact our customer service.
Good-to-know basics
- You can track a delivery here or use the link provided in your order confirmation email.
- Read the order confirmation (in Finnish) carefully, it contains important information about your delivery and the next steps.
- For in-home delivery, service provider will carry your order inside regardles of the floor.
- For doorstep delivery, service provider will drive as close to the house/door as possible and the products are delivered near the delivery truck. Please note that delivery trucks can be large, and the driver will assess a safe delivery location.
- Be sure your delivery will fit in all doorways, halls, stairs or lifts in your home and building. For dimensions, look under “Package details” on individual product pages.
- For deliveries to an apartment or condo, please protect floors.
- If you notice that a package has been damaged during delivery, please tell the driver. After receiving the delivery, you can check the condition of the products and if there are any problems, please contact our customer service. The driver is not obliged to wait for the total order to be checked.
- You can pair IKEA delivery service with removal service when purchasing a sofa, mattreses or apliances.
- When buying from the online store, you can check the availability and price of the assembly service in the shopping cart, in department stores the staff will help you with all questions related to assembly.
