Why is my product the wrong color?
Some IKEA products may have grey, blue, transparent or white protective plastic.
The protective plastic is blue, grey, white or transparent. Its purpose is to protect the product so that its delicate surface cannot be scratched during transport or installation.
As a rule, the films should only be removed after the product has been assembled and installed. However, with some products, it is a good idea to remove the plastic before assembly, so that the plastic does not get stuck between the parts. Such products include, for example, high-gloss TV stands. Always follow the assembly instructions when removing plastic.
