When will I be refunded if I return an item?

If you paid in cash at the store, you will receive a cash refund when making the return. For card and online payments, the amount will be refunded to the original payment method within 5-10 banking days after your product return has been processed.

You have 365 days to exchange or return an unused product. Product can be opened and assembled, as long as it has not been used. We always refund the amount to the original payment method after exchange or return has been handled, within 5-10 business days. You will receive a refund with a receipt according to your payment method. If you identified yourself as an IKEA Family member during the purchase, the purchase information is saved in the member profile and you do not need a receipt. The mattresses have separate replacement instructions.
If you made your purchase using hei-card or IKEA loan, refund amount will be deducted from the outstanding balance. If the refund amount is greater than the outstanding balance, you need to request refund from Ikano Bank using their refund form. Ikano Bank is not automatically in contact with the customer regarding the refund, and the refund cannot be reuested through My Account -page on Ikano Bank's website.
