There are several ways to get support when planning your IKEA kitchen:
  • Planning appointment in the IKEA store
    During a planning appointment at an IKEA store, our IKEA kitchen experts will support you personally with planning your kitchen. Depending on availability, the appointment lasts between 45 minutes and up to two hours. During the session, you can see and touch the products on site while you finalize your kitchen planning together. This service is free of charge.

    A planning appointment at an IKEA store is particularly suitable if:
    • you prefer personal guidance on site.
    • you want to see and touch the kitchen and its components before making a final decision.
    • you have measured your kitchen in advance as accurately as possible.
       
  • Online planning appointment
    From the comfort of your home, you can work virtually with our IKEA kitchen experts in an online appointment of around 45 minutes. During a video call, your new kitchen design is created live on screen. This service is free of charge.

    An online planning appointment is particularly suitable if:
    • you value convenience and prefer planning your kitchen from home.
    • you are comfortable using virtual meetings and screen‑sharing tools.
    • you have already taken accurate measurements of your kitchen and have an idea of the styles you like.
  • Planning appointment at your home
    During a planning appointment at your home, our experienced IKEA kitchen experts will visit you for up to two hours to create a kitchen planning solution with you and provide personal advice. This service is free of charge but can only be booked if a kitchen budget of at least 7,000 euros has been specified. The service is currently available only in selected postal code areas.

    A planning appointment at your home is particularly suitable if:
    • you want the highest level of convenience, as our experts come directly to you.
    • you prefer to work with the same experts throughout the planning and consultation process so that your planning is well aligned from the start.
    • you live in one of the eligible postal code areas for this service.
