Do I need DIRIGERA hub if I have a similar hub or bridge from another brand?
Yes. DIRIGERA hub is needed to use the IKEA Home smart app and to connect smart products from IKEA to your smart home.
With DIRIGERA hub, the IKEA Home smart app can guide you in connecting to Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. Synchronise your smart products to the other app and create a smart home set-up there too. Then you’ll be able to use your voice to control smart products from IKEA via voice assistant-enabled devices from Google, Amazon or Apple.
