What is IKEA's position on Russia?
All IKEA stores are closed and we no longer operate retail stores in this country.
On March 3,2022 the Inter IKEA Group and Ingka Group announced that IKEA's operations in Russia and Belarus will be paused due to the war in Ukraine and the disruption of supply chains around the world.
As announced on June 15,2022 the Ingka Group has begun downsizing our business activities in Russia, including the reduction of our workforce. People remain at the center of everything we do. The affected employees have signed mutual agreements and are being offered severance packages that go well beyond the requirements of Russian Federation labor legislation.
IKEA's aim is to offer a wide range of well-designed, functional furnishing products at prices that are affordable enough for as many people as possible to afford them.
