What spare parts can I get from IKEA and how much do they cost?

There are three types of spare parts at IKEA: small spare parts, larger spare parts and spare parts for appliances. The prices depend on the spare part you need.

Sometimes a product only needs a small part to work really well again. For this you can get suitable spare parts at IKEA – online or in our IKEA stores. Please note: In IKEA Planning studios we do not offer this service.
Here we show you how to find the right spare parts and what options you have.
  1. Small spare parts
Small spare parts are components that you need to build your IKEA product – for example, screws, dowels, knobs or other fittings. You can recognize them by the fact that they have a 6- to 8-digit spare part number listed in the first few pages of the assembly instructions.
Here's how to find the part number:
  • In the assembly instructions
You can find the spare part number directly in the assembly instructions of the product. If you no longer have the printed manual, you can access it online at any time on the IKEA Website. To do this, search for the product, open the product page and go to Product details → Assembly & documents to download the manual.
  • In your IKEA Family Purchase history
If your purchase is linked to your IKEA Family account, you can find the spare part number in your purchase history. To do this, log in to your account and open the „Purchases“ section. There you will find the „Order spare parts“ button, which displays all products that have spare parts available, along with their corresponding spare part numbers.
The "Order spare parts" button does not appear if
  • the product does not contain spare parts,
  • the product is sold out or no longer in the range, or
  • the order has been cancelled or returned.
Costs
Small spare parts are free of charge at IKEA.
  1. Larger spare parts
Larger spare parts are components that come with the original product package, such as side panels or drawer fronts.
These parts do not have a six‑ to eight‑digit spare part number.
Costs
The cost of larger spare parts depends on the specific part you need.
Prices may vary by product.
Availability depends on current inventory and may vary over time.
  1. Spare parts for IKEA appliances
To find the correct spare part, you will need the information from the nameplate of your appliance. This includes the model, serial number, and manufacturer. You can usually find the nameplate inside the appliance.
You can get suitable spare parts for many of our IKEA appliances, for example:
  • ovens, cookers, microwaves, extractor hoods
  • refrigerators and freezers
  • washing machines and dryers
  • dishwasher
  • coffee and tea machines
Note:
Gaskets for IKEA mixer taps are not sold as spare parts. They must be replaced professionally, and the components usually have a very long service life.

4. Spare parts for electrical appliances from other manufacturers

  • Refrigeration units: doors, handles, seals, shelves and baskets
