How soon can I use my newly purchased IKEA gift card?
That depends on where you bought the card.
Gift cards bought at one of our IKEA stores can be used directly after the cash out.
Cards from the gift card shop order can usually be redeemed 24 hours after the purchase, as soon as the card has been sent by e-mail.
Gift cards bought at gas stations, super markets, postbank offices and other similar selling points can usually be redeemed 36 hours after the purchase.
