How soon can I use my newly purchased IKEA gift card?
That depends on where you bought the card.
Gift cards bought at one of our IKEA stores can be used directly after the cash out.
If you buy a gift card online at our gift card shop, you have to activate the card using a link after you received the card per post.
Gift cards bought at gas stations, super markets, postbank offices and other similar selling points can usually be redeemed 36 hours after the purchase.
