Will IKEA discontinue SYMFONISK?
Yes, IKEA will discontinue SYMFONISK in January 2026.
Since 2018, the SYMFONISK range — featuring the Table Lamp Speaker, Bookshelf Speaker, Floor Lamp Speaker, and Picture Frame Speaker — has supported the way sound and home furnishings intersect. Our launches have generated thousands of media stories worldwide, and millions of SYMFONISK products now bring great sound and design into homes everywhere.
By mutual agreement, no new products will be co-developed, and the existing range will stop selling in January 2026, or until the inventory runs out.
Customers who have one or more SYMFONISK products at home will not experience any changes when the products stop selling. We will work together to maintain and support the products we’ve developed, including software updates and customer service, making sure that customers can still enjoy great sound in their homes with SYMFONISK for a very long time ahead.
MARKET SPECIFIC: Review if there is necessary information about the stock situation with your Sales Leader per market, as this news may trigger questions on availability. Remaining split of stock is to be done and continuous deliveries to fulfilling units and stores are planned.
