Our Stance on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
IKEA believes that being ourselves, and contributing with our uniqueness, makes us all grow.
We strive to have a diverse and inclusive work environment where co-workers feel valued for their uniqueness, can be themselves, and recognised for their diverse talents.

Let’s build the world where everyone can be different.
This May of 2022 in Thailand, in an effort to be more inclusive of all people, within and outside IKEA, we are adopting the rainbow flag to represent diversity in our communities. To us, the Rainbow Flag is more than just a symbol, it's an empowering beginning that marks a crucial step towards a better tomorrow. We want people of all ages, sexual orientations and gender identities to feel at home, not just at IKEA, but everywhere.
Carry with Pride
Showing your sign of support by carrying our iconic and meaningful LGBTQ+ rainbow bag, STORSTOMMA that finally made an elegant appearance at IKEA Thailand, waiting for you to pick up at IKEA stores and online from 17 May 2022.

IKEA Through the Lens of Its Employees.
"I don't compare myself to other, I just live with it and appreciate what I have. I got an irreplaecable experience while working at IKEA because each co-worker help each other and they don't discriminate me for being a disabled person, which made me smile and become a happier person."
— Aomsin, Customer Relations (IKEA Bang Yai)
"By accepting the importance of equality, it means we are ready to deliver this idea to other people. For example, IKEA believes that everybody can give anyone 'a chance' by embracing people's difference, regardless of being pregnant, elderly, LGBTQ+, race or religion, which is the most actionable way to make the World a better place."
— Maggie, IKEA Food & Beverage (IKEA Bangna)
"IKEA is the first workplace that I saw co-worker with colorful hair, tattoo and ear piercing. The recruiter from Human Resource departmen also has a tattoo as well. I think this can affirm that apperance can't identify one's identity and IKEA never let it affect their recruitment perceptions."
— Mean, Goods Flow (IKEA Bang Yai)
