Upgrade your STARKVIND air purifier(s) by adding this sensor that offers more precise air quality measurements and can be placed in a central location in the room, away from the purifier.
By keeping an eye on things as harmful particles, temperature, humidity and volatile organic compounds you can affect the air quality at home and also help prevent for example mold and mildew growth.
The arrow shows if the level of tVOC is increasing, decreasing or is stable. tVOC stands for total volatile organic compounds from, for example, paint, cooking or cleaning and household products.
Activities in the home like cooking and using an open fireplace and sprays can release harmful PM2.5 particles. They can also seep in from polluted outdoor air.
PM2.5 are small inhalable particles, that measure 0.1-2.5 micrometres.

Very nice product. A goodCustomerVery nice product. A good value considering that this is a scientific device from a trustworthy brand and it provides 4 measurements. The only 1 downside it doesn’t provide temperature measurements with a decimal. Sometimes, it lead to perceived huge discrepancies with the thermometer with a decimal. For instance, IKEA shows 21 degrees celsius when Xiaomi shows 22.1 degrees, even if IKEA may actually detect 21.9 degrees.4

Amazing for the priceKarenI bought a very expensive IQAir air purifier and didn’t want to spend several hundred dollars more on their air monitor that also requires WiFi.
This gives me the 2.5 PM and shows if the VOC is rising, steady or decreasing. Also shows temperature and humidity. That’s more than enough for me.
Also, you don’t need to use an app of any kind. Just plug it in and that’s it.
I also take it with me when I travel along with a small air purifier. It’s USB, so you wouldn’t even need electricity, as long as you had a battery pack or device to plug it into for power.
It seems to be very accurate, too. Good enough for me to see if I need to crank up the purifier.

Temperature is off by twoMagnusTemperature is off by two to three degrees celsius and humidity is off almost 10% compared to several other devices and regular thermometers I compared it too.
It would be nice to be able to offset the values in the app because I like idea of Vinstyrka and to be able to run air purifier only when it's needed.3
