We paid for the assemblyPaulWe paid for the assembly option of the bed. we ordered a mattress as the same time which came in a roll. They assembly was really quick, very impressive, but what wasn't impressive is the men didn't take notice of the thickness of the mattresses waiting next to the bed and instead put the support rails on the lower option for a thick spring mattress. So when we put the foam mattress on the wooden slats, it was far too low and the big holes for the assembly screws were very visible. It is important for the staff to take into consideration the mattress that will be used with the bed and select the correct placement for the rails accordingly. I had to take it all to pieces and remake it. Otherwise the bed is good for the price. Also, the design of the pull-out storage draws isn't good - we have bedside tables from IKEA, on either side of the bed so one of he draws can't be opened easily without removing the table and lights etc. It would be better to have draws that take into consideration the width of the table and have a sealed part. In fact a draw on either side would be better. There is a lot of wasted storage space under the bed. Putting boxes etc isn't really an option as they get so dusty and draws are a better option for cleanliness.3

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
