You can assemble it yourself – but you don’t have to

Our products are specifically designed to be simple to assemble so that our customers can easily do it themselves. However, if you need an extra hand, we can provide a service for the assembly of your IKEA furniture in your home.

If you’re placing an order online, we offer the following assembly options below together with a truck delivery. You can easily book the assembly services as you checkout online!

Furniture assembly:

• 7% of the original product retail price

• Inclusive of installation of tip-over restraint for safety purpose.

Wall mounting:

• 50 THB per 4 holes

All service charges are paid directly to our Service Provider

Shopping at your nearest IKEA store

If you are shopping in-store, please speak with an IKEA co-worker at an information counter to book the service. Alternatively, you can also book for services at the delivery counter in the store.

Important notice

At IKEA, product safety remains our top priority. Furniture is safe from tipping over when secured to the wall. Tip over restraints and instructions are provided with all IKEA floor standing units that are required to be fastened to the wall. Consumers are encouraged to adhere to the instructions provided with each IKEA product and to ensure that all floor-standing furniture units are fastened securely using the existing tip-over restraints provided.

Terms and Conditions

1.  The complete kitchen price* is valid from  24th August 2023 – 21st August 2024  when purchasing METOD kitchen storage solutions at IKEA Bangna, IKEA Bang Yai, and IKEA Phuket only. ​
2. The complete kitchen price during the above period includes the installation and delivery fee.​
3. This complete kitchen price is only applicable for purchases of complete METOD kitchen storage solutions** with a minimum purchase of 70,000 THB including VAT.​
4. The complete kitchen price is only available in the following provinces around IKEA stores;​
   • Chiang Mai​
   • Bangkok​
   • Samut Prakan​
   • Chonburi excl. Koh Sichang and Koh Larn (Postcode 20120 and 20260)
   • Nonthaburi
   • Pathumthani excl. Nongsuea (Postcode 12170)
   • Nakhorn Pathom excl. Kamphaeng Saen (Postcode 73140 and 73180)
   • Samut Sakhon excl. Ban Phaeo (Postcode 74120 and 70210)
   • Phuket
   • Phang Nga only Khok Kloi, Lo Yung (Postcode 82140)
5. The purchase of complete METOD kitchen storage solutions can be exchanged and/or returned only according to the IKEA Exchange and Return policy.​
6. The measurement fee (1,000 THB) is excluded​
7. Ikano (Thailand) Limited reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions without prior notice.​

Pricing

​Bathroom installation service costs 12% of the price of products to be installed, with a minimum charge of 2,000 THB.​The above service fees are only for the areas of Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, Pathum Thani (not covering Nongsuea – 12170), Samut Sakhon (not covering Ban Phaeo – 74120, 70210), and Phuket. Please note that there will be an additional travel fee for other service areas. This service is not available in Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala, Koh Sichang (Chonburi), Koh Yao (Phang Nga), Koh Kood (Trad), and Koh Tao (Surat Thani). ​
