We know you can assemble it yourself, but you don't have to.
Our products are specifically designed to be simple to assemble so that our customers can easily do it themselves. However, if you need an extra hand, our third-party service provider can provide a service for the assembly of your IKEA furniture in your home.

Assembly service fee 7%
of the regular price of the item to be assembled. Whether you purchase your products online or in-store, we offer convenient assembly service options. If you place your order online, you can simply select the assembly service during checkout. For in-store purchases, please contact a co-worker at the Delivery Counter located in the Customer Service Department to provide your address and pay the furniture assembly service fee.
About the service
Furniture assembly:
- 7% charge of the original product retail price
- Inclusive of the installation of a tip-over restraint for safety purposes.
Wall mounting:
- 50 THB per 4 holes
Moving furniture via the staircase (No lift access)
- Floor 1–4: Free of charge
- Floor 5–8: Additional fee of 50 THB/bulky item/floor (item must not exceed 20 kg in weight and 1.5 m in length)
- Floor 9 and above: Service not available
This service is only available for the truck delivery option
Our assembly technicians will arrive fully prepared with all the necessary tools and equipment to assemble your products on the same day as the scheduled delivery. Please note that if you request assembly services on a date other than the product delivery date, an additional service fee will apply.
Important notice
At IKEA, product safety remains our top priority. Furniture is safe from tipping over when secured to the wall. Tip-over restraints and instructions are provided with all IKEA floor-standing units that are required to be fastened to the wall. Consumers are encouraged to adhere to the instructions provided with each IKEA product and to ensure that all floor-standing furniture units are fastened securely using the existing tip-over restraints provided. The assembly service charge is Inclusive of the installation of a tip-over restraint for safety purposes.
Things You Should Know
The Furniture Assembly Service is available exclusively for IKEA furniture and does not include METOD kitchen systems, KNOXHULT modular kitchen (for products requiring water and electrical connections), kitchen appliances, bathroom furniture, and shower screens.
