Exchange & Return Policy
It’s OK to change your mind - whether you shop online or in-store. We believe everyone should be able to try our products at home. The IKEA 365-day return policy allows you to return your purchase with the original receipt for a full refund.*
*IKEA reserves the right to refund when the exchange and return policy is fulfilled.

Returning unopened IKEA products
You can return unopened, new (without signs of use), and unassembled IKEA products in their original packaging, along with the receipt, for a full refund to the original method of payment.
Returning opened IKEA products
We also accept returns of IKEA products that have been opened or even assembled but are *unused and in good condition (at IKEA’s sole discretion), within 365 days, along with the receipt, for a full refund on an IKEA Gift Card. The gift card must be collected in-store within 1 month and is valid for 2 years from the date of issuance.
IKEA products that can’t be returned
Our 365-day return policy does not apply to cut fabric, readymade curtains that have been cut, sewn, or altered, plants, used beddings (including all types of bedding, duvets, duvet covers, pillows, pillowcases, bolsters, and pillowcases), kitchen/electrical appliances, products from AS-IS, food products, and goods ordered to your specifications e.g., custom-made worktops, damaged items resulting from misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, incorrect self-assembly, and products damaged after leaving the store.
The IKEA ‘Sleep on it‘ mattress exchange policy
It takes time for you and your new mattress to get used to each other. That's why we give you 365 days to be sure you're compatible. If the chemistry isn't right, simply come back and choose another mattress under the "Sleep On It" policy. Exchange it for the right mattress at one of our IKEA stores, along with the receipt.
