Every year millions of good, functional second hand furniture is thrown away. By keeping IKEA furniture out of landfills and finding them new homes instead, we hope to encourage people to reduce waste and prolong the life of our products. 

Your purchases are protected by buyer protection, so you can cancel your order and get a refund if any items are incorrectly described by the seller.

IKEA can't guarantee the following:

• The existence, quality, or authenticity of the listed items.
• The accuracy or truthfulness of sellers’ content or listings on the service.
• Sellers’ ability to sell items through the service or arrange for the items to be collected by the buyer.

On the second-hand marketplace items are sold by other IKEA Family members. The names of the sellers are always displayed in the listings. 

Second-hand marketplace allows you to sell nearly all historic and current IKEA products. Your listing will always be reviewed by the IKEA Customer Support team before it’s published.

Items you can't sell:

• Food
• Mattresses
• Kitchen appliances
• Products that are not from IKEA

Yes, you can sell your IKEA products back to us. Start by valuing your product online using our buyback estimator tool. For you who are (or become) an IKEA Family member, you get 15% extra on your IKEA refund card when you sell your products back.

Yes, in our As-Is Stores we give IKEA products a longer life. Here you’ll find customer returns, display products, discontinued products, and second hand products bought back from our customers – all at a reduced price.
