Kenneth, United States - Clean lines
The ENKÖPING style for our kitchen, has clean lines, drawers glide so easily in and out. Easy to wipe clean. Practical kitchen for our busy everyday life. I absolutely love the storage it provides for all our kitchen needs.
Tammy, Canada - Surprisingly Good Looking
Yes, it is thermofoil on MDF, but the white Enkoping has a nice matte finish and good texture. This option (in white) is a good match for a country/farmhouse style kitchen or laundry room.

Material
What are foil and laminate?
Some wood materials need protection with a durable and easy-care foil or laminate surface. The choice depends on the end use and desired finish. We often use paper foil for storage furniture, while plastic foil suits demanding areas like kitchens and bathrooms. Today, the plastic we use is mostly recycled and our goal is to use plastic from renewable sources. Laminate is made of resin-impregnated paper, which adds a durable and moisture-resistant surface for countertops.
