Customer reviews
- Great Table Top
The Bamboo top is lightweight and strong. The finish looks very nice. I like the looks a lot better than a non-wood finish.
Andy, United States - A sleek, functional table top
I purchased this to go with Olov legs to create a desk workspace. I like the smooth feel and the ample space provided. Nice size for small to moderate sized area. You can buy different shades and different legs, to mix and match.
Judy, United States - Placed over two Alex drawer units
Works well as a desk top when placed on two Alex drawer units. The rubber nubbins are good at keeping it from shifting around on the units, while allowing me to move the desktop if needed to manage cords behind it.

Material
What is bamboo?
Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years. At IKEA we use bamboo for items like furniture, bathroom decor, baskets and lamps – and we are constantly exploring more areas of use for this versatile material.
