Assembly is carried out during the following time slots:
Monday - Friday: 08.00-20.00
Saturday - Sunday: 09.00-18.00
The customer and service provider agree on a suitable day and time that works for both parties.
Before the service provider's visit
- Make sure and check that your delivery has the right goods and the right number to be assembled. You should not open the packages as this may make assembly more difficult. If packages are damaged on the outside, contact IKEA Customer service on +(0)775-700 500. You may be charged an additional start-up fee if you have not inspected your delivery, where damaged/missing goods prevent the service provider from starting the work.
- Ensure that the furniture is in the same room where it is to be assembled and placed, and that there are ample assembly areas.
- Remember to protect your floors!

If you need to cancel, do so at least 3 hours before the scheduled appointment. Otherwise, you may be charged an additional start-up fee.
Anchoring to the wall
If you, as a customer, do not want your furniture anchored to the wall, you must sign a document provided by Hemfixarna Nordic AB, where you take responsibility for any damages or accidents caused by the furniture not being anchored.
Pets
We love pets but would appreciate it if you inform the service provider in advance that you have them. When the technician comes to your home, we ask you to ensure that the animal is in a room other than the room where the work will be carried out.
For those who have purchased PAX
- Always store the frames and doors of PAX in a horizontal position before assembly, otherwise there is a risk of the product becoming warped.
- If there is a skirting board that extends more than 15 mm, it will instead be anchored to the wall with angle brackets.
- The PAX wardrobe, which is 236 cm high and equipped with sliding doors, requires a minimum ceiling height of 240 cm.
