Measuring

Before you start planning your dream kitchen, it's important to get the measurements right. Book a measuring service with our partner to get help measuring your kitchens so you know you're on the right track from the very beginning. Because our partner takes responsibility for the measuring process, you can carry on planning and designing your ideal kitchen, safe in the knowledge that you've got the correct measurements.

The measuring service includes a floor plan containing the following:

  • Length, width, height
  • Location of doors and windows
  • Angles of walls
  • Location of water, pipes, gas, radiators, ventilation, frames, wall-mounted fixtures and switches that may interfere with kitchen planning.

Please note:

  • Worktop measurement is not included in the service
  • Your kitchen needs to be ready for measuring (make sure that the areas that need measuring are accessible for measuring tools).
  • Electricity usually needs to be adapted to your new kitchen solution and is therefore not included in the drawing.

*Our partner takes responsibility for measuring your kitchen as-is when they visit you based on what they are able to see and measure. If changes are made to the kitchen after the measuring service, such as removing tiles, moving a wall, etc., this may affect the measurements. The measuring service is documented with photos and actual measurements.

Verification service

Once the kitchen is measured and drawn (in our kitchen planner), you can book a verification service. (Please note that verification service can only be booked if also booking a kitchen installation). Our partner will go through what you want to install and give you a price quote for a fully installed kitchen. All the points below will be verified, and you go through a checklist together for the entire kitchen installation. The verification service gives you peace of mind, knowing that your plans are correct and that everything can be installed. See terms and conditions.

The verification service includes:

  • Verification that your kitchen drawing can be implemented
  • Checking that all products can be assembled/installed according to your plan (taken from IKEA kitchen planner).
  • Checking that all connections are in the right place, are functional and can be installed as planned.
  • Checking whether there are special circumstances affecting assembly and installation, these are identified and documented.
  • Checking whether any changes or preparations need to be made before installation can begin.

Please note:

  • In order for us to guarantee that the worktop has the correct measurements, the kitchen installation must be ordered through IKEA and the verification must be carried out by our partner.
  • You will be notified in writing if connections are in the right place, but it appears that the type/size is wrong. With reservations for what cannot be seen with the eye.
  • If you choose a different partner than the one who conducted the verification service, responsibility for the provided information is waived.
  • The quote clearly states what is included in the planned installation. In case of any additional work, you must approve this work in writing before it can begin.

Price: 0:- if you choose to proceed with the installation of the kitchen with our partner. The cost of the verification service is included in the final invoice.

Price: 995:- if you do not choose to proceed with the installation of the kitchen with our partner.
