Terms and Conditions for the IKEA Business Network

The IKEA Business Network has been created to enable more business customers to shop with us while developing our customers' experience. As an IKEA Business Network customer, your company will have access to a variety of services such as purchase history, benefits, offers and inspiration for your business.

Terms and Conditions  

These conditions constitute an agreement between the Company registering as a member of the IKEA Business Network ("Company") and IKEA Svenska Försäljnings AB ("IKEA"). IKEA may change these terms and conditions e.g. in case of changes in applicable laws, changes in services and features offered by IKEA or when IKEA introduces new services. IKEA is a limited liability company with registered address Box 200, 260 35 Ödåkra, Sweden.

IKEA Business Network

As an IKEA Business Network customer, the Company will have its account on the IKEA Business Network platform ("Network Account") Through the Network Account, the Company can purchase products and services for business purposes and access and use a number of features, services and benefits intended for business customers. The benefits and offers to IKEA Business Network customers may change over time and IKEA reserves the right to add or remove benefits and services. Certain benefits and services are only offered to the Company on a single occasion and any attempt to circumvent this right will be considered a breach of the terms and conditions which may result in the termination of the agreement.

To link the Company's purchases to the Network Account, the Company must identify itself as requested by IKEA. IKEA will not be able to make any retroactive registrations of purchases. 

Product and service offers

Through the network, the Company will have access to a wide range of preferential offers and services. IKEA also have offers on business services provided by partners of IKEA that we believe are relevant to network members. In addition, IKEA Business Network customers will receive offers on selected products and services. However, please note that not all products offered to IKEA Business Network customers have been approved for commercial use, and that IKEA does not take any responsibility for ensuring that the products offered or discounted are compatible or suitable for their intended use in the Company's business. Benefits, offers and services vary over time. Information on our current benefits, offers, discounts and services is always available on www.ikea.se/businessnetwork.

Learn with IKEA 

IKEA wants to support the growth of our IKEA Business Network customers. For this reason, IKEA has created "Learn with IKEA", which gives IKEA Business Network customers access to learning opportunities through training modules and newsletters on topics such as staff development, business development and space creation. Please note that all content in "Learn with IKEA" has been created exclusively for the IKEA Business Network customer and that the Company is prohibited from downloading, copying, recording, sharing, distributing or otherwise making the content of "Learn with IKEA" available to anyone not employed by the Company.  

1. IKEA Business Network Customer  

The Company must create a IKEA Business Network Account by providing accurate, current and complete information, including Company name, address, VAT number and email address, and undertakes to keep IKEA updated on any changes to such information.

By registering a IKEA Business Network Account, the Company confirms that the person submitting the registration is authorised to bind the Company and that the Company is eligible to register a Network Account. The Company also represents that it has all necessary rights, powers and authority to enter into and perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

The Network Account is non-transferable and may only be used and accessed by the Company, directly and exclusively for its own business purposes. The Company confirms that under no circumstances may the Network Account be used to resell IKEA products or services to third parties. 

2. Network Account administrators 

The Company can choose to have multiple users connected to its IKEA Business Network Account including multiple users with administrative rights. The person who first creates the Company's IKEA Business Network Account will automatically become its administrator. The Company must always have at least one user with administrative rights. The administrator will be able to (a) invite other employees of the Company to become users and administrators of the Network Account; (b) delete individual users; (c) delete or change the settings of the Network Account (e.g., select settings); and (d) view the full purchase history of the Company, including the name of individuals who have placed an order. A regular user with an IKEA Business Network profile without administrator rights can only see their own activities on the Network Account.

Each user will receive a IKEA Business Network customer number ("digital card") to be used to identify the Company as a customer of the IKEA Business Network. The digital card is non-transferable and can only be used by the person whose name is on the card. The digital card is not a debit, credit or guarantee card.

The administrator is responsible for ensuring that all users of the Network Account are employed by the Company or otherwise authorised to act on behalf of the Company.

IKEA will store and process personal data of the individual users of the Network Account. Read our full privacy policy here which applies to the Company's relationship with IKEA. 

The Company hereby confirms that it will make such persons aware of all applicable Terms and Conditions for Purchase and Delivery

3. Use of the Company's membership  

The Company may only use the IKEA Business Network Account for business, commercial and authoritative purposes, such as purchasing, using planning tools and/or communicating with IKEA. The Company must not misuse or manipulate the functions and services it accesses through the Network Account.

If the Company believes that an unauthorised person has gained access to a password and/or the Network Account, the Company must immediately contact IKEA and change any compromised passwords.  The Company should ensure that its users always log out of the network at the end of each session. IKEA is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from its failure to comply with these terms and conditions. 

4. Term and termination  

IKEA may terminate or suspend the Company's IKEA Business Network Account by notifying the Company's account administrator of the occurrence of any of the following situations: (a) if IKEA sees, or has reason to believe, that the Company is using the IKEA Business Network Account in violation of these terms and conditions; (b) if IKEA reasonably suspects that fraudulent activities have taken place; (c) any other use of the Network Account that is not acceptable to IKEA; or (d) if the Company has been inactive for more than 36 months. By inactivity, IKEA means that the Company has not interacted with IKEA by, for example, logging into the Network Account or opening IKEA emails. IKEA also reserves the right, with or without prior notice, to remove or edit content, change, suspend or discontinue the availability of features or services and charge, or stop charging for any services, under the Network Account.
