1. Conditions for IKEA reviews

We may use your review to improve our products. For this to work, it is important that you give us your personal honest review. And that you give us permission to use it. It is a good idea to read the terms and conditions carefully before submitting a review. By submitting a review, you are agreeing to IKEA using it in accordance with the following terms and conditions.

2. What do you do with my personal data?

A. IKEA and the moderator of the reviews will see all the information you provide. The information you provide when submitting your review may be used to improve our products and services.

B. IKEA and third party suppliers may use your email address to contact you as part of your review. Your email address will not be used for marketing purposes.

C. IKEA uses Yotpo Ltd as a data processor. Yotpo Ltd helps us with our handling and administration of your review. We have entered into an agreement with the data processor that ensures there are security measures in place to protect your data. When we share your data, it will be used for the same purposes for which we originally collected it.

D. Our external data processor, Yotpo Ltd, is established outside the EU, in the USA. The transfer of personal data from EU countries to the US is secured by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) that we have entered into with Yotpo Ltd.

3. Will my personal data be published on IKEA.se?

Personal data other than your first name will not be visible on IKEA.se.

4. What are you doing with my review?

A. By submitting a review, you authorise IKEA to use it to improve our products and services in the way IKEA considers most appropriate.

B. It is possible that your review will be translated and posted by IKEA on other IKEA sites.

C. IKEA may also use the text of your review for publicity purposes (e.g. in advertising campaigns or on social media). In this case, your personal data will not be used.

5. What do I get for leaving a review?

IKEA is very grateful for useful reviews. They help us provide better products and services. However, giving a review is entirely voluntary.

6. When will I be able to see my review on IKEA.se?

A. Of course, our customers only want to read useful reviews on our site. This is why a moderator checks reviews first, for example for inappropriate language.

B. It is up to IKEA and/or the moderator to decide whether or not to post a review and whether or not to remove it.

7. Who will see my review?

A. Visitors via IKEA channels (app, web, store).

B. It is possible that other websites or organisations may copy your review or text from an IKEA site. IKEA has no influence over this.

C. If your review is used for publicity purposes, the recipients and readers of your review will see it.

8. Can I withdraw or change my review?

It is not possible to change your review. If after submitting the review you want it to be deleted, you can contact IKEA Customer Service.

9. Can I write anything?

A. You can write anything about IKEA products and services. But what you write must be accurate and complete.

B. In addition, reviews containing inappropriate language are not allowed. For example, racist, discriminatory or abusive language is not allowed.

C. You have to write what you submit yourself. Plagiarism (copying), even partially, is not allowed. By submitting a review, you guarantee that your review does not infringe on anyone else's rights (such as copyright).

D. Your review can only be about an IKEA product or service. Other information (such as references to other websites or contact information) is not allowed. And of course, you must not send any viruses or other harmful IT-related items.

E. In general: your review must fulfil the requirements of the laws and regulations in Sweden.

F. You are of course responsible for the content of your own review.

G. It is up to IKEA and/or the moderator to decide whether your review complies with the terms and conditions.

10. How do I leave a review?

A. To be able to leave a review, you must be at least 16 years old.

B. Only submit a review if you have experience with the product or service you are writing about.

C. You may not submit a review if you receive compensation (in any form) for doing so.

D. You must be logged in to leave a review on a product via IKEA.se.

11. How long will you keep my review?
