How do I become an IKEA Family member?
How great that you want to become part of IKEA Family! Membership is free, easy to join and gives you immediate access to a world of benefits, offers and rewards.
- Online: The fastest way to join is online via IKEA.com or by downloading the IKEA app. Simply enter your personal details, such as your name and email address, and choose a password to create your membership.
- In the store: Speak to a co-worker and they will be happy to help you through the registration process.
- Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to become a member.
- One account per person: To ensure the best possible experience, and to keep all your rewards and receipts in one place, each member should have their own account. It isn’t possible to merge two separate IKEA Family accounts or transfer information between different accounts.
- Physical cards: As part of our work towards a more sustainable everyday life, we no longer produce physical IKEA Family cards. This helps reduce unnecessary plastic use without affecting your access to any IKEA Family benefits. Instead, you can find your digital membership card in the IKEA app or in your profile on IKEA.com.
- Card information: Your IKEA Family card does not contain any personal information - it is simply linked to your account. Therefore, a lost or damaged card does not need to be blocked or reported.
- Log in to your IKEA account.
- Select the profile icon shaped like a person.
- Choose “Join IKEA Family”.
