Does IKEA's children and baby tableware contain any hazardous substances?

Our children's and baby tableware contains no hazardous substances and is also BPA-free. We do everything we can to ensure that our products do not contain any chemicals that could be hazardous to humans or the environment.

At IKEA, we adhere to the REACH legislation for chemicals and other substances that may be present in our plastic products. This also goes hand in hand with IKEA precautionary work and the guidelines we have towards chemicals in our products. All IKEA products for all different types of markets are manufactured according to the chemical rules of conduct found in the EU REACH legislation.
IKEA has banned the use of Bisphenol A (BPA) in children's products that come into contact with food, and these products also do not contain any phthalates.
