Normally, it takes about four to five hours to charge the battery with IKEA chargers. However, charging time may vary depending on the condition of the battery. An older battery may need a little longer.
While the battery is charging, you can still pull down the curtain manually. When the battery is fully charged and back in place, you can easily control the curtain again with the remote control or the IKEA Home Smart app.
