Frequently Asked Questions
- Choose a store and see what’s available at the moment.
- Select the item and check its status. Look under the "Condition" tab for a closer look at any defects.
- Log in with your IKEA Family account. Not a member yet? Join right away for free.
- Reserve your item for pickup at your chosen store; we’ll hold it for 48 hours.
- Visit the store and the As-Is Store (formerly “Fynd”) to pick up your item. Feel free to inspect the item to ensure it meets your expectations.
- Then, pay as usual at the checkout. Remember to visit the store within the reservation period!
- If you change your mind, you have 365 days for returns, just like with regular IKEA products. We’ll refund you using the same payment method you used at checkout. Learn more about returns.
All IKEA stores, but the selection varies depending on what comes into the inventory. So, feel free to check the As-Is Store online for your store regularly to see new products.
- Discontinued products that are no longer sold in the store but deserve a second chance because they are in like-new condition.

- Products with cosmetic imperfections. Even though they aren't perfect, they are still fully functional and safe to use.
It varies, depending on the product’s history. The images under the "Condition" tab show if there are any defects. Whether the item has its original packaging, is assembled, or possibly even used, you are buying what you see in the picture.
Yes, of course! You can change your mind when picking up your item in the As-Is Store at the store if you feel the reserved product doesn’t meet your expectations. However, you can also change your mind once you get home – you have 365 days to return it, just like with regular IKEA products.
