Tables & chairs

Come in, gather around the table or just take a seat. Whether you are looking for a dining set to sit down for a meal or a bar table to rest your drink on, you’ll find a table or chair that fits whatever you want it to do in whatever space you have.

A perfect match for any dining space, from cosy to grand

Some meals are quick, some last for hours. Some days it’s just you, other days there’s an extra chair (or three). The NÄSINGE series is designed for all of it – morning coffee, weeknight dinners, and long Sunday lunches that turn into evening chats. With extendable, foldable, and round tables, plus chairs that invite you to sit just a little longer, it’s a setup that adapts as easily as life does.

Where lazy mornings meet midnight deadlines

Some days, the kitchen table is for quick meals. Other days, it’s the centre of everything – group projects, birthdays, late-night catch-ups. The IBBARBO stool is always ready, stacking neatly away until extra guests arrive. With its three-legged design, it never wobbles, even on uneven floors – because in a shared home, flexibility isn’t a luxury, it’s survival.

Thoughtful design brings it all together. The off-white rug subtly connects the dining area with the oak-effect kitchen, creating a sense of flow between cooking and dining. The white table and chairs keep the space feeling bright and open, while the plants add warmth. A well-planned space makes small living easier, proving that size is never a limitation – only an opportunity for smart solutions.

Types of tables

From coffee tables to computer desks, and bedside tables to dining sets. A table is a versatile piece of furniture, often multitasking as dining, working, studying, gaming, and living area. As such, it needs to fit your space and needs perfectly. That’s why we have a wide range of tables in different shapes, colours and materials, to make sure you find what you’re looking for.

Different tables have different features

Getting a table is not just about what looks good. Make sure to think about the design and shape of the table as well. Different designs have different features, so take some time to consider which type suits you best.

Round vs. square

Round tables often require more space than rectangular ones, as they are perceived as being bigger. If it’s a dining or kitchen table, you’ll also need more space to be able to pull the chairs out properly. However, they do give a softer impression thanks to their smooth shape.Rectangular or square tables give a sharper impression. But they are often easier to adapt to the room. The shape works with most interiors, no matter the theme. This kind of table commonly takes up less space than a round one does, and it’s easier to place in corners or position in difficult layouts.

Legs or no legs

Don’t just think about the shape, make sure to consider the height and design of the legs as well. For example, you might want a slightly higher coffee table if the family often eats in front of the TV. That way, you don’t have to bend over too much when it’s pizza time. Also, consider the shape of the legs. Slanted legs can look great. But you also run a greater risk of hitting your toes, as it’s easy to forget the fact that they protrude more than straight legs.

Then there are the wall-mounted tables, best used in the kitchen or bedroom. The obvious advantage is that they save space and don’t take up any floor space. They can provide an airy feel in an otherwise cramped room. Plus, it’s really easy to clean underneath.

Get yourself a table that stands out...

Feel free to let your table shine and stand out if you are to place it in the living room, dining room, or kitchen. It’s a natural showstopper and can really lift a room. Try to work with contrasts when it comes to colour and shape. That is, if you have a lot of furniture that is angular in shape, try adding a round or oval table.

.…or one that blends in

If contrasting colours and different materials aren’t your thing, you can also try the monochrome style. Match tables and other furniture in the same or similar shade. For example, a beige rug, a white sofa, a birch coffee table, a light grey TV bench, and a white lamp. See what we mean? As long as the materials differ, the look can still work its magic.

No matter what type of table you’re looking for, we’re sure you’ll find something to your taste here. Visit one of our stores if you want to take in the different options or get your table online if you are sure of your thing.

Types of chairs

Being productive in front of your computer? Having a meal? Kicking back and reading a book? A lot of situations involve us sitting down. And sitting down differently. That’s why chairs are some of the most important pieces of furniture in our homes. And it’s also why you need different chairs for different situations. But whichever type or style of chair you need – you’re sure to find it in our wide range. We’ve got you covered, so you can sit back and relax.

A chair for every occasion

You get out of bed, hungry, and it’s time for breakfast. You sit by your kitchen table, maybe looking out of your window with a cup of coffee and a newspaper.

Once you’re finished, it’s time to get some work done. You have a seat at your desk, open up your computer and do your best to be productive.

After a couple of hours of work, it’s time for lunch. The weather is nice, so you decide to head out for a walk. You sit down at the stool in your hallway to tie your shoes and walk to your favourite downtown café. You get seated outside and enjoy having a nice salad in the sun.

Are you starting to see the pattern?

Most of our days involve plenty of sitting, for many different reasons. And that requires different chairs, whether it’s a convenient bar stool that fits in a small kitchen, or an ergonomic desk chair for many hours of seated work. While some nice dining chairs will look good around your dinner table, you will likely want to go for stackable café chairs on your balcony or deck.
