Your first own home, with room for everyone you know!

The very first own home is a thrill! For the first time in life you can indulge in being the only one who set the rules, so make this 100% yours. When friends come over, you want them to say “Oh, this is so you!” the moment they step inside. Or “This is so smart/funky/colourful/fun!” depending on who you are and what you aim for.

Fitting 7 rooms into 1

At a certain time in life, an unlimited budget, matching furniture and spacious rooms are… not for you! Instead you have a bedroom which is also your living room, pentry, office, lounge, walk-in closet and last but not least; your guestroom with room for as many friends as happened to stop by. Together with your own creativity, versatile furniture is the solution to most problems. You might even want to add the names of these nifty pieces; VIHALS, NISSAFORS, DOMSTEN, PLATSA and OMAR, to your list of great friends!

Sleep over, or sleep under?

VIHALS trundle bed is a complete bed that fits under the regular day-bed, always ready to be pulled out for sleepovers. Or perhaps you use the trundle bed as your own and leave the day-bed for guests? As long as you have a place to hang out all day, can sleep tight all night – and always have room for a friend!

Open storage for open minds

OMAR shelving unit with clothes rail is as simple as it looks – but also genius in all its simplicity. It’s easy to overlook, easy to use and easy to adapt with different accessories from the series, or combined with another storage unit. And yes, it helps keep your clothes and things airy and fresh, to reduce your laundry!

Storage up, over and around

With PLATSA you can build a complete storage solution, without using more floorspace than for one single wardrobe. With a stool close by, all your things are still easy to reach even if they’re tucked away in the top compartments. The mirrors on the wall aren’t there only to let you shine – they also make the room look bigger!

Storage in piles or drawers? Why choose?

VIHALS chest of drawers is as much decoration as it is maximised storage. Once everything is tucked into the big drawers, the top is free to display the things you actually want to see. If there’s still more stuff around that tend to end up in piles on the floor, just add DIMPA sorting bags or KNAGGLIG pine boxes! They offer perfect storage for everything from laundry to magazines or extra pillows.

Welcome to the lounge

At fancy hotels they call it “the lounge” but all it really is, is a comfortable chair in a nice spot. So without much effort you can lounge around and relax at home, especially if you have a comfortable armchair and a few favourite decorations to rest your eyes on. Welcome to the lounge.

Think cubic meters, not only square meters.

With limited floorspace, you can always look up and make the most of the walls. If you figure out the cubic meters of your home instead of just the square meters, it instantly feels a lot bigger! Shelves on the wall over the desk provide a lot of storage without ever being in the way. Add boxes or different organisers to keep everything in order on the shelves, and yes, that makes them easy to dust off as well.

Friends up the walls!

With a lot of visiting friends, there’s always a need for extra chairs. With limited floorspace, make sure they are stackable like DOMSTEN stools – or foldable and decorative as art on the wall, like VIHALS. A small refrigerator is always handy if you lack your own kitchen, and again: Make use of the wall above it!
