These are very sturdy and easy to assemble. They fit any décor, use them upright or horizontal, the choice is yours.

Was easy to assemble alone as a young adult, make sure to pay close attention to the directions like any IKEA product. I like how solid the top and bottom pieces are and how much space there is for eletrionics/dvds/etc.
