The package was damaged - it was an amateur job from IKEA unfortunately.
Poor designGarethAlthough this unit is a smart looking space saver and was reasonably easy to assemble (although the cupboard doors are a bit small for their cavity), we were dismayed to discover those dinky little drawers could not take any of our CDs!!!!
We love our music and were thrilled to be able to finally find a home for our great old amp and CD player - but flummoxed why Ikea designed drawers just a little too small for cds. That looked deceptively in the brochure like they could. There were no measurements for them.
Why, IKEA????
It’s a media unit for goodness sake.
Real bad design failure in our book.
On that score, very disappointing.
