Why isn't my cooktop working?
There can be several reasons why the cooktop isn't working properly. Here are some tips that might help you:
Check the manual:
You will find a complete troubleshooting guide, information about child safety locks, error codes, and more in the product manual.
Disconnect the power:
If there's a technical fault or the cooktop has stopped responding, try disconnecting the power/fuse for 15-20 minutes. This can often resolves the issue.
Check the stove guard:
Newer homes or renovated kitchens must have a stove guard (not sold at IKEA). If the cooktop won't turn on, you may need to reset it, generally done by holding down its button for 10-30 seconds.
Contact appliance service:
If problems persist, appliance service can assist you. Find contact information and more details here.
If your payment isn’t going through, it could be due to incorrect card details, insufficient funds in the account linked to the card, the card being blocked for online purchases, or the card having a maximum limit for online purchases, which you need to change through your bank.
