Membership at the IKEA Family is free. Besides, in order to get an IKEA Family card, you do not need to buy any goods.
As an IKEA Family member, you receive benefits, rewards, and a few surprises along the way.
- Free coffee or tea. Free hot drink every time you visit the Swedish restaurant on weekdays and spend 1 € or more with your IKEA Family card.
- Special monthly offers. Special offers on products in the IKEA range. To spot the offers, look for the blue IKEA Family labels in our physical selling points, the Swedish Restaurant and the Swedish Food Market.
- Free insurance of goods. This benefit will insure your new products against any accidental damage on the way home. If you break it, we replace it within 90 days from the date of purchase.
- Be the first at the pre-sale. Acquire the goods at the sale prices one day ahead of those who do not hold the IKEA Family card.
- More fun for children. With your IKEA Family card, your child‘s playing session at Småland will be extended by 30 minutes (this depends on the number of children playing at that time).
- Games & events. We enjoy having fun and hope that you do too! That is why from time to time we organise games for you to participate in.
To join this club, you have to create an IKEA Family account. The registration form can be found at https://www.IKEA.com/lv/en/profile/sign-up/. After completing the form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Once you confirm your e-mail address and fill in the other required fields of the registration form, an IKEA Family e-card will be sent to your mailbox and added to your IKEA Family account. The e-card proves that you are a club member.
We send the IKEA Family e-mail messages 4 to 5 times per month.
The IKEA Family card may be used only by its holder or their close family member. Your acquaintances may obtain their own cards – this will take no longer than a minute.
No. The e-card is issued only to its holder.
The e-card will be activated immediately after you receive it in your mailbox. You can also find it in your IKEA Family account.
If you have lost your card and would like to access it again, log in to your IKEA Family account on the website www.IKEA.com/lv/en/ or in the IKEA app – you will always find your IKEA Family e-card there. If you are subscribed to the IKEA Family newsletter, you will also see your e-card at the bottom of each newsletter e-mail.
There are various differences between the regular prices and the special IKEA Family prices for the club members. The special prices are applied to certain IKEA products each month. To spot the offers, look for the blue IKEA Family labels in our physical selling points, the Swedish Restaurant and the Swedish Food Market. To acquire lower prices, do not forget to show your IKEA Family card at the time of purchase.

When you pay for the products and show your IKEA Family card, you insure your goods against any accidental damage during their transportation. Besides, information about your purchases helps us prepare the offers that are especially interesting and relevant to you.
Your IKEA Family card can only be used in the country it was issued in. If you registered to become an IKEA Family club member in Latvia, your card will be valid only at the IKEA selling points in Latvia.
By logging in to your account, you can update your personal details (such as your name, surname, address, contact information, etc.) and give or change your consent for direct marketing or participation in games and/or competitions.
We care about your privacy, therefore you can update your marketing preferences online, by logging in to your IKEA Family account. If you wish to stop receiving e-mails from us, you can also unsubscribe from our mailing list by clicking the “Unsubscribe” button at the end of any newsletter.
To insure the goods, your IKEA Family card must be shown at the time of purchase at our physical selling points. To claim your free insurance, you should come to the IKEA selling point within 90 days from the date of purchase and bring the item, your IKEA Family card, and your receipt. The free insurance of goods is valid on any purchase, whether you have purchased it for the regular or for the special IKEA Family price. The insurance does not apply to items from the Bargain Corner, purchases made with IKEA gift cards, measured fabrics, or products made to your specification, such as custom-made worktops.
Yes, you should always show your IKEA Family card, no matter what products you’re buying. Here’s why:
- You’ll insure your goods against any accidental damage during their transportation.
- You’ll be able to return the products within 365 days.
- You’ll help us get to know you better and learn about the things you love!
Unfortunately, the cashiers cannot look up your information at this time. However, you have a few options:
- You can access your IKEA Family account on the website www.IKEA.com/lv/en/ or via the IKEA app, where your IKEA Family e-card is always available.
- Your IKEA Family e-card is at the bottom of all IKEA newsletters. The cashier can scan the QR code from your phone.
We are sad to see you go... But if you wish to terminate your membership, you can do that by logging in to your IKEA Family account and deleting it or by contacting our Customer support or sending an e-mail to [email protected].
Yes. By creating an IKEA Family account, you automatically become a member of the IKEA Family club.
At present, all IKEA Family offers are valid only in our physical selling points, the Swedish Restaurant and the Swedish Food Market.
Every updated IKEA Family account automatically includes an IKEA Family e-card, which is always available there.
Yes, both the digital and physical (plastic) cards serve as proof of IKEA Family club membership. Once you update your IKEA Family account, your e-card – a digital copy of your physical card – will also be available there.
For existing club members who download an e-card, the physical (plastic) card remains valid. If you log in to your IKEA Family account and update your consent to IKEA Terms & Conditions by October 31, 2026, the number of your physical (plastic) card and all its benefits will be retained in your e-card.
Your IKEA Family card will be blocked, and all personal data (such as your name, surname, address if provided, phone number, etc.) as well as your consents for direct marketing or participation in games and/or competitions will be automatically deleted from our systems.
If you do not want an IKEA Family card or to create an IKEA Family account, you can still shop as a guest in the IKEA online store and the mobile app.
If you want to delete your account urgently, contact our Customer support or send an e-mail to [email protected].
Create an IKEA Family account, and we will send your e-card by e-mail. You can also always access it by logging in to your IKEA Family account on the website www.IKEA.com/lv/en/ or via the IKEA app.

You received this email because, following an update to our systems, we want to make sure you have saved the latest version of your IKEA Family e-card. You can use the e-card in our physical stores as well as when shopping online or in the app. The card is also saved in your updated account, where you can access it at any time.
