As a retail company, SIA Paul Mason Properties, we are committed to the mission of offering a wide range of well-designed functional home furnishing products at low prices for the many people, we are continuously enhancing the accessibility of our digital experiences, systems, and services for our diverse customer base, including those with disabilities.

We are continuously working towards improving digital accessibility, and we are doing so by implementing global standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). WCAG provides guidance on how to make websites easier to use for people with disabilities. There are three levels of conformance and IKEA aims to achieve WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

For example, we have strengthened navigation capabilities, allowing users who rely on assistive technologies to more effectively browse, engage with, and complete transactions on our websites. These improvements empower individuals with visual, motor, or cognitive disabilities to more independently plan and design kitchens, wardrobes, and living spaces, as well as complete purchases through a simplified and more accessible ordering process. In addition, we have optimized key website functionalities—such as layout, colour contrast, text size, and responsiveness—across both mobile and desktop experiences to better meet the needs of users with a wide range of abilities.

We have taken significant steps to make our digital experiences more inclusive. We are also working with accessibility experts and people with disabilities to test and give feedback.
