IKEA for business: cottages for enjoying nature

In this project, we fulfilled our client's vision of two cottages in a beautiful location near Talsi. The aim of the project was to create a place for relaxation, rejuvenation, enjoying nature and always feeling comfortable because everything one needs for a carefree time is available. The client wanted to see not only natural, up-to-date colours, but also the best quality furniture and furnishing. The collaboration was easy and pleasant, because the vision matched the possibilities.

About the project

Two 36 m² cottages called Liiv Coast Cottages with outdoor terraces, overlooking the garden and the pond, are located in Roja municipality, Talsi district. Each cottage has a living room, two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The owners wanted to create a tastefully furnished place to enjoy nature, escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax in the tranquility of the countryside.

The interior has been designed taking into account the unique layout, location and, of course, the wishes of the clients.

The terrace is furnished with HÖGSTEN terrace chairs with a holiday feel, made from easy-care, hand-woven plastic rattan. They are perfectly complemented by the fire-resistant, romantic-style SOLVINDEN LED lamps powered by solar cells.

Simple, natural, comfortable

The bedroom is decorated in ascetic natural tones, using furniture and interior items made from high-quality materials - the HAVBERG natural leather armchair, the NORDKISA bamboo bedside table and wardrobe, the SINNERLIG bamboo lamp shade, the IDANÄS bed with cosy fabric upholstery and a padded headboard for comfortable seating.

The compact yet functional kitchen area has a kitchen worktop and equipment to match the anthracite window frames. METOD kitchen cabinets with matt VOXTORP door fronts and integrated handles blend seamlessly into the light interior of the holiday home, giving the kitchen an airy, contemporary look.
